This was bought for my mum. Although we haven’t used it a great deal, we’ve tried it out and it’s certainly alerts carers quickly. You can change the volume and the tune that it plays. It’s also battery operated so you don’t need to find a plug No idea how long the batteries will last sorry

I use this for when I’m on duty caring for my mum twice a week who has Alzheimer’s Dementia, it’s great that I can hear her when she steps on the mat with a ding dong bell! The only thing is you aren’t able to mute it, as the second time I used it, it didn’t work, I asked a question to the customers who bought it and they suggested I take one of the three batteries out of the receiver when not in use. So it’s great now, highly recommend

I have found this item extremely satisfying, I have an elderly husband who has started to wonder in the night and has had 2 Falls ending up in hospital second time, so this alerts me when he does try to get out of bed and I can be there to stop it happening again, very satisfied.
